About Me

I call the mountains of Northeast Tennessee home. I love coffee, cats, and all things plants. I live for fresh air and a spontaneous splash in the creek. I'm a sucker for a good book and a bowl of chocolate ice-cream.

I got my first camera when I was 9. I'm not going to pretend I was any good at photography back then, but it ignited a desire in me to find and document the moments in between moments, where you can feel the grit and substance of life.

I love to use natural light in my work. Golden hour is my jam and I'll never say no to a dreamy sunrise shoot. I am always seeking out ways to marry crisp, clean light with moody vibes. Earth tones are the best thing ever and I absolutely swoon over a good shallow depth of field.

In 2022 I graduated with my MFA with a focus in photography from East Tennessee State University. I always thought this photography thing would stay a hobby, but I guess it's true when they say that if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. So that's what I'm doing.
