Authenticity is my driving force.
I'm not a fan of over-structured shoots. Don't get me wrong, my process was developed to help you find all of your best angles and to never repeat that one uncomfortable photography experience that we've all had. But I consider myself to be a documentary photographer, and I believe that authenticity is what makes images so beautiful. If you appreciate creativity and are willing to trust me, we would make the best team!
I like to let you enjoy your day and be in the moment. I also know when to step in and direct when needed.
My favorite thing is to pull a bride and groom away from the hustle and bustle after a ceremony or during a first look. Let's face it, wedding days can be a whirlwind. I love to sneak in a few quiet minutes to let you be in the moment with each other and forget I'm even there. These are the best, sweetest photos and I love helping you feel present in the midst of everything else.
At the same time, I'm not afraid to put on my big girl pants and take control when I need to. When your favorite (but rowdy) cousin starts acting out during family portraits, or when we're trying to get everyone wrangled up for a sparkler send-off, you can leave it to me.
